Spring/Easter Retreat

A Day of Retreat:
"Springing" and "Eastering" into Fuller Life
with Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
and Gerard Manley Hopkins

Mary Ellen Sheehan, IHM, STD

Saturday, April 28, 10:00am-5:00pm

Suggested Offering: $40 (includes lunch)

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and Gerard Manley Hopkins, one a Jesuit scientist and the other a Jesuit poet, have both written profoundly about the dynamic and revelatory connection between nature and our intimate life in God through the Resurrection of Jesus and the transforming energy of the Holy Spirit. This retreat will ponder this central claim of our faith from scripture and also from some of the writings of these two Jesuit mystics who proclaim the Word in their own inspiring words and lives. There will be a presentation in the morning and also in the afternoon with plenty of time for quiet reflection and prayer. The day will end with a celebration of the Eucharist.  (The registration deadline is Tuesday, April 24, 2018.)
